Ready July 5th. If summer vacation plans interfere with you bringing your puppy home at go home time, ask us about our puppy headstart training program that can be done weekly. 

$2,300. Taking reservations. 

-Limited AKC registration. Full registration available on some litters after health clearances are complete at 2 years of age. 

Weights of parents. You can expect the males to weigh around Blade's weight, however many males could be around 70 lbs and the females around Melly's.

Melly: 62 - 64 lbs

This litter is perfect for a family companion and potential hunting partner. We are expecting the puppies have to have a nice off switch with the ability to chill and relax in the house, but be ready to engage in any activity whether it is just a walk in the woods, occasional hunting adventure, agility, dock diving and more.  You can read more about the parents temperament below.

Melly's weight: 62-64 lbs 

Melly is owned by Beth Johnes and Bess Park. Melly is a 4th generation of our lines. Her grandmother is Jazz and her great grandmother is Jenna.  

Melly lives with her human Mom, Bess Park and 3 four legged family members, two of which are from Dry Pond Kennels, Jackson and Jessie.

Melly takes after her parents, Pretzel and Beam with being very laid back and chill, however Melly can be a rocket dog! Her favorite spots are on the couch or the bed.  Melly is very focused and intentional and always looking to have some fun. Her favorite play toy out of the 20 or so in the yard are a couple of throw pillows.....bought just for her, which after assuring they are fluffed and ready, she conveniently tucks into a corner of the daybed to take a quick nap.

Melly (Isadora Melanie Wilkes…..she has a 4th name and I’ll have to look it up) weighs around 63 pounds and is a gorgeous dark sleek chocolate color and a thinner coat. After the hurricane she helped clean the yard up by dragging logs to the fire pit.  Her brightness brings laughter and energy to the entire household, and she adores people and loves to be loved.  Bess adoringly calls Melly a truck at times because she is such a powerhouse of muscle and energy who tears around the backyard and ends with a sloppy wade in the pool and a nap in the sun.  Combine that with her love of a good belly rub, She’s a sweetheart, so smart, and playful.  She is very much loved.
